I have always loved the visual arts. Aside from my CCA (Drama), I ensure that I'm always diving deeper in my interests

In 2023, I collaborated with my form teacher to film an showcase of the book "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" which was shown during our school's morning assembly to promote reading.

Creative Interests and Personal Projects

In the same year, I also received the Commendation Award for a Lower Secondary Book Trailer at the National Schools Literature Festival 2023 for which I directed and acted in with my CCA mates.

Later, in 2024, I partook in a workshop by Epitomedia, which gave me further insight into the world of photography and videography. Completing a short film project about the staff of my school during the workshop, I received an Achievement Award for Media Appreciation.

Additionally, I also have a interests in areas of math, technology and business. I won 2nd place in the CVSS Sudoku Challenge 2023, participated in the CVSS Cyber Wellness Quest 2023, in which my class 1st Place, and I also had the enriching opportunity to visit the Apple Singapore HQ in preparation for an overseas learning programme to Indonesia.

Sports and Outdoor Pursuits

Beyond academics, sports is what drives me.

Since I was young, I was a netballer. I joined my primary school’s netball CCA when I was 10 and in secondary school, I joined the Singapore Netball Academy, training weekly to improve my skills and physical endurance.

Aside from team sports, I love other physical activities.

In July 2024, I successfully completed the Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) Expedition Course. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever been through as I got to push myself mentally and physically as I hiked, camped, and bonded with my teammates, who I only met at the start of the programme.

I also taught myself how to cruise and perform tricks on my brother’s old skateboard. Born just from curiosity, skateboarding is now a full blown hobby of mine.
